Description:
PokeBatterySave is an application for ROOT users to lower power consumption while playing Pokémon™ GO. When it detects Pokémon™GO in the foreground it does some of the following (but not all) automatic changes:
1 – For Android™ Lollipop or newer devices it turns on the system Battery Saver
2 – Lowers CPU frequencies based on which battery saving option you've chosen
3 – Lowers the GPU frequencies on Qualcomm devices based on the same rules as (1)
4 – Lowers display brightness also according to the same rules as (1)
5 – Sets Location Mode to "Device only" if you use the Super battery saver
When the game returns to the background all the settings go back to the device's values before the changes were applied.
You also have the option to "keep the display on" while playing Pokémon™GO, which overrides the system timeout setting.
